Through various assignments and personal explorations all around the world, French photographer Clément Morin assembled a vast collection of diary-like photographs that reflect on his own perspective on the world. Exploring the diptych concept and refining the conversation the images were having in relation to themes that are close to his heart lead to the exhibition “Material”, a first product of the unexpected connections in time and space.

Capturing everyday cityscape episodes and breathtaking outdoors sceneries, the exhibited diptychs reveal an unspoken dialogue where urban structures mimic nature and the other way around. What resources and materials do we use to create our material ways of living?

Through this project, the photographer aims to bring attention to the ways we consume in order to survive and thrive, and the menace of excessive human behaviours endangering the prosperity of entirely wild and untouched natural spaces.

ALL PHOTOGRAPHS ARE AVAILABLE IN LIMITED AND SIGNED EDITIONS IN 700 x 1000 mm (limited edition of 8) and 329 x 483 mm (limited edition of 10).
